Monday Practice

MONDAYS: Neutral Dominance & Takedowns

Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM Focus: The Battle for the First Point.

Monday sessions are dedicated to the most critical phase of wrestling: The Neutral Position. To be a "Complete Athlete," you must be able to control the center of the mat and dictate the pace of the match from your feet.

  • Core Fundamentals: Stance, motion, and hand-fighting.

  • The Attack: High-percentage takedowns including double-legs, singles, and hi-C entries.

  • Counter-Offense: Disciplined down-blocking and sprawling to neutralize an opponent's shot.

  • The Goal: Dominating the feet and securing the first takedown with explosive, technical precision.
